The Rock was a truly special stallion whose impact on the Western Pleasure industry far exceeded the short time he was with us. This stunning 2011 chestnut roan AQHA stallion, standing 15.3 hands, was sired by RL Best Of Sudden and out of Lopen Good Bar (Ima Zippo Good Bar), blending two elite bloodlines known for producing style, cadence, and exceptional minds. Owned by Magnuson Farm, The Rock quickly rose through the ranks with standout performances that included AQHA World Show Intermediate Champion honors in the 2-Year-Old Open Western Pleasure, multiple top finishes at the Congress, NSBA Reserve World Championships, and major futurity wins at the Tom Powers and Little Futurity.

Though tragically lost in 2017 at just six years old, The Rock left behind a legacy that continues to shape the industry today. His offspring have carried forward his talent and charisma, producing champions across major futurities and national events – including standout Super Sire Tik Tock. His influence within the Super Sires program has remained strong for years after his passing, highlighted by earning the title of 2019 Reserve Super Sire of the Year. The Rock may have been taken too soon, but his legacy lives on through the horses that continue to carry his unmistakable look, movement, and winning spirit into the arena.
