Super Sires Stallion Service Sale & Auction

Each year, Super Sires hosts a nationally recognized Stallion Service Sale featuring breedings to top stallions across the industry. Proceeds from this fundraiser directly support the Stakes Purse portion of our program, helping us continue to reward excellence in the show pen while making top-tier genetics more accessible to mare owners.

Round 1: Nov 16 - 30

The first round of Super Sires Stallion Service Auction runs from November 16 through November 30. Stallion breedings will be offered to the highest-bidder in an auction setting with the first bid beginning at 75% of the advertised stud fee.

Round 2: Dec 1 - 31

Any remaining stallion breedings not sold through the first-round auction will be offered in the second-round storefront at a flat rate of 60% of the advertised stud fee from December 1 through December 31.

Round 3: Jan 1 - May 31

Any remaining stallions will then be offered in the third-round storefront at a flat rate of 50% of the advertised stud fee through May 31 of the calendar year.

Nominated Stallions Donate a Breeding

Stallions enrolled in Super Sires may contribute a breeding to the annual auction. This donation helps fund the Stakes Purse classes and expands visibility for the stallion to new mare owners.

Mare owners bid & buy

Breeders from across North America bid on breedings via our digital auction platform during designated sessions. Winning bidders receive a breeding to that stallion for the listed breeding year, at a fraction of the standard stud fee.

win-win structure

Buyers get access to elite stallions at reduced prices, while helping support a program that gives back. Stallion owners benefit from increased exposure and from being part of a community-focused initiative that rewards their foals in the show pen.

Funds Support Stakes Purse Payouts

Every dollar raised through the sale directly funds our Stakes Purse—a key component of the Super Sires mission. It’s one of the many ways we ensure stallion owners, breeders, and exhibitors alike benefit from participation.
