Fortunateson was a bay 2012 AQHA stallion whose presence, pedigree, and performance made him truly unforgettable. Though his passing was untimely, his legacy continues through frozen semen breedings—and the exceptional foals he leaves behind. Bred for greatness, Fortunateson was sired by the legendary Blazing Hot—a multiple Congress and World Champion, NSBA Hall of Fame inductee, and leading AQHA sire. His dam, Choicetta Baretta, is a proven World Champion producer and daughter of the great Zippo Pine Bar.

With over 400 AQHA points in Hunter Under Saddle, Trail, Western Riding, and Performance Halter, Fortunateson earned titles including 2019 NSBA World Champion Senior Green Trail Horse, AQHA Superior Trail Horse, and Superiors in Level 1 Trail and Level 1 Western Riding. He was the kind of stallion that left a mark—in and out of the show pen—and thanks to modern breeding technology, his influence is far from over.
