How do I nominate my foal to Super Sires?
You can complete a nomination quickly and easily using our digital nomination form. Just be sure your foal is sired by a Super Sires stallion (past or present), and you’ll be able to submit payment and documentation all in one place.
What stallions qualify for foal nominations?
Any foal sired by a stallion enrolled in the Super Sires program—either currently or in past breeding years—is eligible. You can view the full list of eligible stallions here.
How much does it cost to nominate a foal?
Nomination fees vary by foaling year and registration status (APHA, AQHA, dual-registered, etc.), but the base nomination is very affordable. Full details and pricing are outlined on the nomination form.
Is the nomination a one-time fee, or annual?
Just one time! Once nominated, your foal is eligible for life—no renewals, no recurring fees.
What happens if I sell my foal after nomination?
No problem. Super Sires nominations follow the foal, not the owner. Simply submit a Foal Update Form to transfer ownership and keep records current.
Can I nominate a foal post-weaning or later in life?
Yes! While we encourage early nominations, you can nominate a foal of any age—as long as the sire was enrolled with Super Sires the year the foal was conceived.
What if my foal’s name or registration changes after nomination?
Use our Foal Update Form to submit changes like a new name, color updates, registry number corrections, or ownership transfers.
