MARKEL INSURANCE SUPER SIRES FUTURE STARS & PROSPECT SALE
All offspring consigned in Markel Insurance Super Sires Future Stars & Prospect Online Sale are eligible for the Buyer’s Premium Distribution Program. Consignments must be a 2-, 3- or 4-Year-Old sired by a Super Sires Stallion, current or past. Buyer’s Premium must be paid (5% of last live bid) for eligibility for Buyer’s Premium monies.
All Buyer’s Premium monies collected from the Markel Insurance Super Sires Future Stars & Prospect Online Sale in 2023 will be awarded at annual Super Sires Future Stars & Prospect Online Sale in 2024.
Super Sires Executive Committee is creating an opportunity to entice buyer of horse to compete in as many dollar paying venues and classes (Western Pleasure, HUS, Trail, Western Riding, Ranch Riding, etc) as desired, accumulating dollar earnings for the horse beginning the day after the 2023 Markel Insurance Super Sires Future Stars & Prospect Online Sale through October 31, 2024. All earned monies (recorded by NSBA, Robin Glenn Pedigrees and Equi-Stat) will be totaled. Buyer’s Premium purses will be disbursed using NSBA’s payout scale.
Buyer’s Premium Distribution
All Buyer’s Premium monies from each division will be distributed to same division.
Buyer’s Premium monies will be distributed equally with 50% paid to registered consignor and 50% paid to registered buyer.
Age Division Purse Amounts
2YO Age Division: 2 Year Old Buyer’s Premium + 1/3 of sponsor money
3YO Age Division: 3 Year Old Buyer’s Premium + 1/3 of sponsor money
4YO Age Division: 4 Year Old Buyer’s Premium + 1/3 of sponsor money
